Abstract In recent years, much research has been devoted to free-space optical communication (FSO). The unregulated spectrum, low implementation costs, and robust security of FSO systems all are great importance which lead a wide range applications for links, from terrestrial communications satellite communications. However, the fundamental limitation with links is atmospheric turbulence (AT) caused by fading, significantly reducing link performance. Random phenomena best characteristic changes in air’s refractive index over time. Numerous probability density functions AT models were presented model randomness channels. Log-Normal (LN) channel weak turbulence, while Gamma–Gamma (G–G) selected moderate strong turbulence. impacts geometric losses, attenuation due weather, errors misalignment addressed using LN G–G Channel coding one possible solutions mitigating such impairments as low-density parity check (LDPC) codes. this article, Weighted Bit Flipping (Algorithm (1)), Implementation Efficient Reliability Ratio (2)), Min-Sum (3)) algorithms compared evaluated against addition, two novel proposed enhance complexity or Error Rate performance LDPC decoding results showed an impressive improvement coded system employing existing decoders point comparison parameters.
